Thursday Film prides itself on telling the stories that get marginalised in society, expressing the voices of those that get left behind by conventional media
What we do:
Create compelling drama for film, television and web that deal with powerful social issues that often get stereotyped or ignored by other film and television projects.
We do this by working extensively with those directly involved in the subject matter, either through personal experience or as part of professional research bodies.
Our aim is to tell engaging, often divisive, stories that will stimulate social and political debate and that can, subsequently, be used as tools for education.
What we don’t do:
Tell boring stories that everyone has seen before!
Based on real events, ‘Notes’ is a powerful drama detailing the devastation to personality, memory, thinking and emotion caused by dementia. We watch Terry struggle with his memory but the true shocking state of his condition is only revealed when his daughter comes to visit.
This thirty minute TV drama tells the story of Hannah. Things are going well for Hannah. She is young, beautiful, has a flat in the heart of Glasgow and a new job starting on Monday. There is only one small problem in Hannah’s life. She is HIV positive.

The 'Notes' shoot in December 2011 went well, and we would like to wish our stars Alison Steadman and Edward De Souza many thanks for giving their time to participate in the project!
The film is being edited together and post production should come to an end in the early part of March.
Talking2Minds film is in pre-production, and Thursday Film are working closely with the T2M team and the MOD to have this cinematic commercial ready to air on channel Dave by the end of the year. More details on this project HERE.
